- 24 Prunes. Get the ready to eat ones with the stones removed.
- 12 rashers Streaky Bacon
- 50g Mango Chutney (Optional)
- Brandy or Tea for marinating
Preparation
- Pre-heat oven to 200°C: 400°F: Gas 6
- Soak the prunes in either brandy or tea for between 30 minutes and 24 hours, then remove the stones if you did not buy the ready to eat ones.
- Stuff each prune with ½ tsp mango chutney. (optional)
- De-rind and stretch the bacon with the back of a knife to prevent it shrinking, cut each rasher in half.
- Wrap a piece of bacon round each prune.
- Place on a baking tray.
- Keep them packed up tight so that they don't come apart (alternatively pierce with a cocktail stick to prevent this).
You can prep them up the night before so all you have to do is
- Bake for about 8 minutes.
- Server with your Turkey.
